lifestyle choices for your kids/parents at your schools? How did you
set it up, what would you do differently? Would you do it again?

I am need to know how many districts actually hire nursing subs when the
regular nurse or nurses are absent.
PLEASE respond as to whether your district hires subs or not and how
much they are paid.

I would like to hear from other districts in AR about sub pay for RNs.
Do you pay them more than teacher subs? Is there a difference in RN vs.
LPN vs. UAP sub pay?
Our subs are paid $60 per day which is the same as teacher subs with >
60 college credit hours. Non-licensed subs with < 60 credits are paid
$50/day.

Our district pays $15 per hour (7 hour day). This is more than teachers
get. I only use RN's.

Our subs are paid the same as the teacher subs and there is no
difference in pay for LPN or RN.

I can't even get anyone to sub for me!! Ha :)
All subs in my district, Prescott, are paid the same unless they work so
many days in a row. Even subs with degrees are paid the same unless
they have work x # of days in row then they are paid teacher pay.
Nurses in my district are not paid equally as far as teacher/nurse
comparison. We, I, am only paid a percentage of what teacher's
receive...buy that's another soap box!

Mammoth Spring does not hire a sub they let the secretaries handle it.
I am just curious about the pay scale for school nurses. I feel like it
is bad. mine it 15,500.00 Just wondering for those who don't care to
share. thanks
