Hello,

Well they have arrived. The Arkansas State Board of Nursing School Nurse
Roles and Responsibilities Guidelines, revised September 2007 are alive
and well. They can be found on the state board website or
www.arkansascsh.org <http://www.arkansascsh.org/> 

Simply click on School Nurses at the top of the page and then scroll
down to school nurse resources. Make it a favorite. Save it to your
desktop. Print a copy. There are some major changes. We no longer have
the health care paraprofessional. Anyone without a nursing license is
referred to as an unlicensed assistive personnel (UAP). We have revised
and expanded the matrix and added some content, such as: "Making a
complaint to the Board", "Disciplinary actions", and "Disposal of
controlled substances". 

We removed the appendices that had the laws and references and have
suggested that you check our website.
