Our district pays RNs with a bachelors degree are on the same salary schedule as the teachers.  However, they just put us on the teacher's salary scale.  I have been here with the school for 20 years and I am paid what a first year teacher makes.  The new RN we hired makes the same.   In other words, when they put the nurses on the teacher pay scale they did not count the years you have been in the district.  This is good for the new nurses we hire and it is OK with me.  I knew the pay when I took the job.  I am glad they finally started paying us on the teacher schedule.

Hello,
	I am Sandy Williams RN, I have been a school nurse in the Rogers 
School District for 15 years.  I am interested in knowing the districts who pay 
their nurses the same salary scale as the teachers.  I am also, interested in 
your highest step on your scale and the salary of that step.  As I have look at 
a few school websites it seems that our salary is behind many in the state.  
Our teachers are paid some of the highest salaries in the state but our 
nurses salaries our last step in behind many.

I would appreciate any information.
