YES, they are! At Mammoth Spring we are not paid with the teachers.  Our highest scale is 25 years LPN- $18,176  RN- $20,427.  I am an LPN on year 4 making $15,404.  People laugh when they find out how much I actually make.  Hope that helps thanks Robin

Hello,
	I am Sandy Williams RN, I have been a school nurse in the Rogers 
School District for 15 years.  I am interested in knowing the districts who pay 
their nurses the same salary scale as the teachers.  I am also, interested in 
your highest step on your scale and the salary of that step.  As I have look at 
a few school websites it seems that our salary is behind many in the state.  
Our teachers are paid some of the highest salaries in the state but our 
nurses salaries our last step in behind many.

I would appreciate any information.
